We recently launched our PC headset adapter with phone jack, but we’ve had customers wanting to use their phone headsets with their office corded phone. So we just launched a 2.5mm to RJ9/RJ1/RJ22 (not RJ11) headset adapter for Nortel, Aastra, and most corded phones, as well as a 2.5mm to RJ9 headset adapter for Cisco, Avaya, and Polycom phones.
Note that RJ9, RJ10, and RJ22 phone handset and headset plugs have four connectors, not six like RJ11 plugs. RJ11 is only used to plug the phone into the wall.
Be sure to see which of our Headset Buddy adapters fits your specific model of phone because thev have different wiring.

Where do I purchase this??
Joe,
Thanks for your interest in the Headset Buddy. Because we are in the process of redesigning the product to improve compatibility with more phone systems, we temporarily stopped selling it. We should have our new models available in a month or so. Please visit TheHeadsetBuddy.com for updates.
Thanks,
Bryan
Where do I purchase this??
Is the Aastra 2.5-to-RJ9/RJ1/RJ22 adapter ready yet? I’m ready to purchase!
If not, do you sell a headset with RJ22 jack for Aastra? T/Y, Arthur.
I am ready to buy the 2.5mm to RJ9 headset adapter for Polycom phones. when is this going to be on the website for purchase??
Hi,
I want to plug a smartphone headset which has a 2.5mm jack plug into my Avaya 9608 desk phone which has a 4 contact RJ9 type headset socket. Which is the correct adapter from your range? I can see 2 options:
01-PH25-RJ9
01-PH25-RJ9Cisco
Can you advise please?
Thanks, Alan
Looking to buy the 2.5mm female to a RJ-9 for a polycom.
Where can I buy some and for what price.
Is the new model available yet? I have been looking for this item on Amazon.com and the ones that are being sold (as of 01/07/2012) are not getting very good reviews, which prompted me to do a Google search…which landed me here.
While compatibility depends on the type of phone you have, we do offer a money-back guarantee if it doesn’t work for you. We’ll even pay return shipping.
