We’ve all had computers break on us before, and one common component that can break is the microphone or headphones jack on your PC. Well instead of spending hundreds to replace your sound board, you can buy our PC Headset to USB adapter instead!
But this adapter isn’t limited to those of us with broken sound boards, it also works if you want to use your PC headset with Macs, or if you want to use it was a PS3 USB headset adapter.
Note that RJ9, RJ10, and RJ22 phone handset and headset plugs have four connectors, not six like RJ11 plugs. RJ11 is only used to plug the phone into the wall.
Be sure to see which of our Headset Buddy adapters fits your specific model of phone because thev have different wiring.
In addition to our standard PC Headset to RJ9 Phone Adapter which can be plugged into many handset and headset jacks, this adapter is used specifically with Cisco phone headset jacks.
Cisco headset jacks have a slightly different wiring for the RJ9/RJ10/RJ22 plug. (RJ11 is not used for headset jacks)
On the phone all the time? Want to use your PC headset with your office phone RJ9, RJ10, or RJ22 handset plug? Soon you will be able to!
Plug your favorite PC headset into the Headset Buddy and plug the 4P4C RJ9 plug into your phone’s handset or headset jack. Works with standard as well as VOIP or IP phones. See our site for a full list of compatible phones including Nortel, Cisco, and others.
Rj9, RJ10, and RJ22 (aka 4P4C) are what are used for the headset and handset jacks of phones. Rj11 (6P6C) is slightly bigger and is how you plug your phone into the wall.
